Played with Social Crypto tool over Holidays

 Like many programmers, I've been playing around writing programs over the Holiday break.

Last year, I started working on this Social Crypto tool in which encrypted messages are split into
chunks which will fit into 140 characters. Care to guess why?

Still working on it but what I'm toying with now is the idea of releasing the code under an open source license once I've pounded on it some more and posting a message every week or so here, with the idea that just maybe it will induce others to take a look at encrypting some of their online traffic. My utility uses bog stock algorithms and mainly provides a handy way to package, unpackage and verify to some minor degree that the message set hasn't been tampered with. I have no illusions that these messages are unbreakable but I believe that they would take substantial effort TO break.
